By creating an account or purchasing from clever-academy.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

The service

Clever Academy provides (1) a video course on systematic review and meta-analysis methodology and (2) a hosted meta-analysis tool. The two are independent products; you may own neither, one, or both.

Accounts

You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and be old enough to enter a binding contract in your jurisdiction.

Purchases & billing

• Video course - a one-time purchase granting lifetime access to the modules available at the time of purchase. Module 0 is free.
• Tool subscription (Pro) - billed monthly or annually in advance through our merchant of record, LemonSqueezy, and renews automatically until cancelled. The free tier includes 5 analyses per calendar month.
• Prices are in USD. Taxes may be added at checkout depending on your location.

Acceptable use

Course content is licensed to you for personal learning. You may not redistribute, resell, or publicly share the videos or downloadable materials. Don't misuse the tool (e.g. attempts to overload, reverse-engineer, or circumvent usage limits or access controls).

Intellectual property

All course videos, slides, and site content remain the property of Clever Academy. Your uploaded data and the results you generate with the tool remain yours.

Disclaimers

The course and tool are educational aids. They don't replace professional, statistical, or clinical judgment, and we don't guarantee any specific publication or research outcome. The tool's output should be reviewed by a competent researcher before use in any publication.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Clever Academy is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the prior 12 months.

Changes & termination

We may update these terms or the service. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.
